FROM CROSSWAY MODELS
Morris Oxford MO
Crossway have now produced two
versions of the MO Morris Oxford. The first version with the lattice work grille, á la
the 40 series Dinky Toy of the 1950s, and the second version with the chunkier grille
which was used on the later Series II & III Morris Oxfords produced respectively by
Pathfinder Models and Spa Croft Models in model form. Colours are:
Early Series:
Black, Maroon, Platinum Grey & Thames Blue. (Below
left)
Late Series: Black, Empire Green, Birch Grey
& Clarendon Grey. (Below right)
We have now received the first two examples, and
it is hoped that further samples will be available shortly. Illustrated below are the
Black and Platinum Grey versions, showing the later and early grilles respectively. I now
have Maroon, Clarendon Grey and Birch Grey in stock. Black version is currently out of
stock.
